For those of you that don't know, I am a Disk Jockey on the side. Have been for a lot of years (the first dance I DJ'd was one of the first I attended- in 1988)
For the past 5 years I've had the pleasure of doing a group of Father-Daughter dances called Butterfly Kisses.
Well, word has caught on and I'm going to have an exhausting month! But I'm not too worried about it...

Call it what you want to- Communism, Socialism, Fascism and a host of
other '-ism's- they all have one thing in common, and that is a
viewpoint of a 'better society'thru government involvement.
I'm
not going to get into the facets of all of them in this article, I'm
going to assume that the reader has at least a working knowledge of the
differences between each. If not, please educate yourself and return.
For the sake of brevity I am going to call all of these things Social
Engineering.
Social Engineering is in my view the Utopian view
that if we try hard enough, through whatever means, we can all be 'one'
world or 'one' country; even 'one' society. Why is this an important
discussion? Because our government is embarking on this very journey
and I believe it is very important for us to analyze what it means.

On to the next thought that keeps me up some nights.
That is the
thought that people like me that are outspoken may face violence in the very
near future, as people unable to separate issue from emotion continue to find
out exactly where I live (kidding! I
hope…). More accurately, there's a very real possibility that if we
continue seeing companies abandon America, we'll see more and more desperation
in the underclass. I hate to say it, but it's true: Violent crimes
are almost always committed by desperate people in poverty. So where does that leave those who want to defend themselves?
Many, if not most of you, know that I had said, if not pledged, that if
there was a Democrat Majority in Congress with Obama heading the Executive
Branch that I would choose now to purchase firearms that I may not be able to
purchase in the future. Few of you understood why, so let me tell you why I did recently purchase a handgun.
I believe that it's important to defend one's home. If
you choose to attack me, fine- but come after my friends or family and you'll face the
firepower of this fully armed and operational Deej. Or, at least that’s
the idea.
Watch this video and then read on- and thanks to Brittany for pointing it
out to me, too!
