I don't get it.  They make "Bushism" calendars, but they let this slide?

Okay, maybe I do.  The media mongers who've bought into Obama being our only 'hope' are apparently all just, for lack of better wording- gullible.

Anyway- I've suddenly found myself very busy and barely with computer, so I haven't done my promised updates or anything.  But I will try to do something this weekend- stay tuned! 

Well, just as I polish up part one in my series of being a Green Conservative, I realized that today is Earth Day.  To my shock and amazement, this is probably the least advertised Earth Day I can recall, as far as what's reaching me.  Odd.

Anyway, other than riding my 40 MPG Motorcycle , I'm not doing squat for Earth Day.  Because I believe that we need to look to longer term personalized solutions rather than grandiose speeches and trying to force the Government to become communistic in applying 'green' policy.  I'm not alone .

Don't get me wrong.  I feel strongly on being smarter about what we consume.  But I don't believe in the current method of scare tactics and worse of all our government's policy on Ethanol- we're seeing the backlash now at every grocery store across the nation, and that doesn't make feeding the underprivileged any easier.  People- you MUST think long term if we're to survive!

What's the best thing you can do for our world right now?  Get back to work.  Just as I'm about to do.
